Why the Southeast?
“I just want to play close to home,” he said, then added that he hoped to narrow his choices by the middle of the season. Johnson, at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds, has offers from all of his top schools, along with Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Vanderbilt. He was named All-State and All-County after his junior season after recording 34 catches for over 600 yards and 10 touchdowns.
What will be the deciding factors when Signing Day rolls around?
“I am looking at the atmosphere and the majors they offer,” Johnson commented. “The game day environment is important, too.”
Calvin boasts a 3.6 GPA and has already scored a 1000 on the SAT.
