Four-star RB talks upcoming visits

Running back Allan Wasonga out of Parkersburg, W.V. took a break from recruiting for a while. The 5-foot-8, 196-pounder is beginning to refocus on colleges and claims two schools are leading and has plans to visit five in the near future.
"I'm supposed to go to West Virginia sometime next week, followed by Pittsburgh the week after," he said. "That's all my visits right now. I am supposed to set up a trip to Penn State for a visit and then I'm looking at Michigan and Illinois before the end of the summer."

Previously Wasonga named Pittsburgh and West Virginia his leaders, is that still the case?
"Oh yeah, Pitt and West Virginia are at the top of my list," he said. "They were my earliest offers. I'm trying to see what's going on there and also to see if anybody new is coming in and recruiting me."
Meanwhile, what about the three Big Ten schools?
"None of them have offered, but they are all on the verge," he stated. "I just need to take my visits and they should offer. They all just want to see me in person.
"I think Penn State is definitely a running school and I would like to see if I'm a good fit there. I want to see what everybody has to offer."
In the meantime, the four-star prospect is keeping busy working with his team and improving his game.
"Our team is looking good and we're not just looking to make a run for a state championship, but to actually win it," he said. "I'm seeing a big improvement in myself. I think I've seen a lot. My speed is better, I've gotten faster and I'm more mature coming into my senior year, being the oldest player out there."
