Four star RB switches to SEC

LaGrange (Ga.) Troup four-star running back Demetrius Goode has switched his verbal commitment from a Conference USA program to an SEC program.
Goode, a Rivals250 selection, had previously committed to Southern Miss (Nov. 21), but chose to switch to Kentucky during his official visit to Lexington this weekend.

"I am 100 percent to Kentucky," Goode said. "I chose them over Southern Miss. I know a lot of people up here. There are a lot of people from the LaGrange area."
Wildcats linebackers Wesley Woodyard and Braxton Kelley, along with wide receiver DeMoreo Ford all hail from the LaGrange area.
Playing time also was a factor.
"I will have a chance to play early," Goode said. "And I just love the atmosphere."
Goode is done with his official visits.
"I am definitely solid to Kentucky and will not take any more visits."
Offensive coordinator Joker Phillips is Goode's Kentucky recruiter of record, giving Phillips his 12th verbal commitment overall and fourth from the state of Georgia.
Goode is the nation's No. 22 overall running back prospect and was a member of the preseason Georgia top 75.
