Four-star RB sets visits

Four-star running back Tracy Slocum (5-10, 195, 4.5) from Clovis (Calif.) Clovis East lived up to his billing as one of the Golden State's top running backs while leading Clovis East to 38-28 victory over a very talented Bakersfield (Calif.) West team. This talented ball carrier also had praise for players on the opposing team.
One of the players that impressed Slocum was Bakersfield West start Princeton McCarty (5-8, 160, 4.34) who first caught the attention of Rivals.com back at the NIKE Camp held in Los Angeles.

Slocum, a member of the Rivals250, is the No. 18 rated running back in the country and the No. 17 rated player in California in the Rivals.com rankings.
"McCarty had some wheels," Slocum said. "He's the real deal."
Slocum also had an impressive game rushing for 198 yards on 24 carries while averaging 8.25 yards per carry and scored two touchdowns.
Not a bad day at the office for Slocum.
Slocum's home office has been pretty busy too, fielding phone calls and setting up visits. He set up his first visit and is in the process of setting up another.
"I have one visit set this coming weekend to Washington State (September 16th)," Slocum said. "Washington State gave me a call and we set it up last week."
"Cal called and we're setting a visit," Slocum said. "I will visit Cal on November 12th the weekend they play USC."
Slocum has offers from Cal, Nebraska, Washington State, Arizona, Arizona State and Fresno State.
Slocum's junior season saw him earn section and league Player of the Year, plus he was Mr. Central Valley his performance
Slocum was also a first-team all-state underclassman, second-team all-state all classifications, first-team all-league, first-team all-area, first-team all-city and first-team all-section.
You receive those heady honors when you rush for approximately 1,800 yards and score 22 touchdowns.
