Four-star RB looking at visits

Four-star Taquan Mizzell has become one of the top running back targets in the nation, as he has recently added a few offers from coast to coast. As he continues to organize his recruiting process, he is planning on a few vists and also beginning to figure out a time frame for his final decision.
"Recruiting has been going great," said Mizzell. "More teams are coming at me hard. I recently got more information from schools like Pittsburgh and Washington, and I'm getting a lot of interest from another group of schools."

Mizzell is quickly approaching 20 offers, with his most recent coming from Miami, UCLA and California.
"It feels good," he said. "I knew I was good, but then when I get offers from Miami and places like California way over there, I realized that I must be really good. I don't let it get to my head though."
Mizzell has not taken any recent visits, but plans to hit the road again towards the summer. He does not have any trips finalized at this time, but is looking into checking out Virginia Tech, Ohio State and possibly a few West Coast schools.
Aside from the schools who have offered, Mizzell also mentioned that Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Florida State, Michigan and Michigan State have all been showing serious interest as of late.
With all of these offers and even more growing interest, Mizzell is beginning to think about a time frame for a final decision.
"It could be in the summer, but I'm definitely not going to wait until the last minute," he said. "I'd probably like to make a decision before my season starts. That's possible."
This past weekend, Mizzell took his talents to New Jersey to compete at a NUC event. He left the event with the overall MVP trophy.
"Anytime I get invited to go somewhere, I go, because I love to compete and get better," said Mizzell, who will also attend the Rivals/VTO Camp in Virginia. "I have another event this weekend to try and compete and get better."
Attending these camps is just another way for Mizzell to improve his game this off-season.
"Right now I'm working on getting bigger, stronger and faster," he said. "I'm already a great blocker, but I want to improve on that because that's important in college. I'm also working on catching out of the backfield and my route running."
