Four-star RB lines up first visit

Denver (Colo.) Mullen running back Maurice Greer has scheduled an official visit and added another offer to his mix as the season prepares for his season opener on Friday.
“Colorado State offered me a scholarship at the beginning of this month,” the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Greer said. “That makes four offers for me. I’m really not any closer to making a decision.”

Colorado State joins Greer’s other offers include Colorado, Kansas State and Arizona State. The four-star rated Greer has not set a time for making a decision, but he knows it will be after his one scheduled visit.
“I am going to take my official visit to K-State the second weekend of December,” he said. “I don’t think I’ll take any visits during the season, but if another one steps up to me and works out before the K-State trip, then I would probably try and take one.”
Mullen opens the season on Friday.
“We open up Friday against Bear Creek. They are supposed to be pretty good. We are are ranked No. 1 and they are No. 2 right now in the preseason polls. It should be a very good game if that is a true ranking.”
