"More than likely I'll go to the Ohio State-Northwestern game," four star quarterback Troy Smith said late Thursday night. "And (junior teammates) Dareus Hiley and Michael Hearns are saying they're going. Our game is Saturday at noon, so we'd go afer that."
"I have West Virginia set for December 1st," Smith said when asked about his official visit schedule. "I'm trying to pencil in a visit to Ohio State in early January. Michigan State might be December 7th, but I'm not sure. And I'm going to visit Toledo. I could possibly visit Georgia or Indiana."
"All the schools have offered me. West Virginia is still my favorite. Probably Ohio State is second."
Smith, 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, has passed for 750 yards and eight touchdowns while also rushing for close to 350 yards. Cleveland Glenville is 5-1.
