Four-star QB White recaps ASU visit

Brady White has been to Arizona State plenty of times but this was his first game-day experience and he picked a good one.
The Sun Devils defeated Notre Dame on Saturday in front of a raucous crowd and the ASU four-star quarterback commit from Newhall (Calif.) Hart said he had an awesome time on his official visit.

"It was unreal," White said.
"I've been on plenty of visits but that was my first time in a game atmosphere so it was really awesome to get to see the town rally around the team and all the pre-game stuff and the student section. It was really special and I had a great weekend as I'm sure all the recruits did. ASU played an amazing game and that was a huge win so that made it that much better."
White, rated as the fourth-best pro-style quarterback and the No. 76 prospect in the 2015 class by Rivals.com, has been committed to Arizona State since early May. He's absolutely solid in his pledge so he said the Arizona State coaches treated him less like a recruit and more like a part of the team already.
The four-star definitely appreciated it.
"They're treating me as if I'm part of the team," White said. "They see me as a leader and a guy who's leading this 2015 recruiting class so I was reaching out to a lot of recruits there, getting to meet them and building relationships.
"I still had meetings with them and they explained how excited they are to have me soon and what the future looks like and how bright it's going to be. They're still treating me pretty well because I'm a recruit and I know it will be short-lived because they'll be yelling at me soon but they're very kind and I love every one of those coaches on that staff."
One of the biggest targets for Arizona State is four-star receiver Trent Irwin, who happens to be a teammate of White's at Newhall Hart. Irwin is basically down to Arizona State and Stanford and he was also on the trip this weekend. White has a good feeling about how things went on the visit.
"I was with him a good amount of the visit and we were scheduled to do a lot of stuff together," White said. "All the information that was presented to him and all the stuff they had us do was really awesome. It was definitely worthwhile. He had a great time. He and his parents got to see a lot of what ASU has to offer so he had a really fun visit and a really worthwhile visit.
"He and Christian (Kirk) are pretty good at having a poker face about stuff. I think he will be making a decision sometime soon because if he wants to be an early graduate and does end up coming to ASU he'll have to make a decision so he can get all his paperwork done. From my feeling, I feel like he's going to reflect on the weekend with his parents, really see what's the greatest fit for him. I think we'll get him to be a Sun Devil and I hope that's what happens."
