Four-star QB taking Stanford trip

Tristan Gebbia is at Stanford camp this weekend and it's definitely an important trip for the 2017 four-star quarterback as he wraps up his summer schedule.
The Cardinal usually does not offer this early but the Calabasas, Calif., standout is excited to check out the campus and see where he stands with the coaching staff.

"I'm going up to Stanford camp on Friday with Brian Hightower and Darnay Holmes," Gebbia said. "I think that's going to be the last one for me because we start in early August.
"I don't know a whole lot. I like the school. I like the academic side of things. My favorite player is Andrew Luck so they have some stuff I'd like to see. I'm going up there and we'll see how it goes."
So far, Alabama, Arizona State, Colorado State, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Syracuse and Washington State have offered Gebbia, rated as the fourth-best pro-style quarterback and No. 69 overall in the 2017 class by Rivals.com.
The four-star said Penn State, Georgia and Washington are showing the most interest but he is quickly turning his focus from the recruiting process to his junior season.
Gebbia would like to take some unofficial visits this upcoming year to check out campuses and games and that way he can start determining some frontrunners.
"I need to see the schools that have offered me before I can say there are certain schools standing out," Gebbia said.
"Hopefully, I'll be able to see some games this year and see how I like the atmospheres and the games. I just want to see everything, put it all together in my head and then figure it out from there."
In his sophomore season, Gebbia finished with 3,336 yards with 35 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
