Four-star QB still needs time

Tyler Bruggman is still considering all his offers, thinking about his recent visits, open to programs showing interest and so the Phoenix (Ariz.) Brophy Prep quarterback is not yet ready to make his decision.
"It's still kind of up in the air," Bruggman said. "I don't have a timetable really. I'm just going over all the information right now and I want to take some more time to think about things.

"There is a crunch for quarterbacks to commit but right now I'm just laying low and really thinking things through."
Bruggman, a four-star quarterback who threw for 2,497 yards with 37 touchdowns and two interceptions in his junior season, recently visited Arkansas, Indiana, Michigan State, Purdue and Washington State and is still reviewing all those trips.
The Brophy Prep standout also has offers from Arizona, Arizona State and Colorado State and all options are still on the table.
"I'm open to any possible option," Bruggman said. "I only really know a lot about the schools that have offered. Those are the most realistic options right now but I'm pretty open to anybody."
Alabama, Utah, Iowa, Oregon State, Vanderbilt and Houston are showing interest in Bruggman, rated as the No. 14 pro-style quarterback and No. 232 prospect in the 2013 class by Rivals.com.
Since so many programs are still involved, Bruggman said he's not ready to make his commitment this early in his recruitment.
"I'm not the type of guy who's going to commit and then de-commit and then commit again," Bruggman said. "I want my word to really mean something. I'm still listening to the schools that haven't offered.
"That's something to think about but not something I'm really waiting on. It's not a viable option right now. It's something in the works and something that's being talked about but I can't wait on something that might not happen."
