Four-Star QB Names Top Five

Pennsylvania has a history of producing great quarterbacks, and this year’s crew looks like it has the potential to produce a one or two more.
Quarterback Marcus Stone of Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt is one of the best players in the northeast, and he has the offers to prove it. However, even with more than 40 offers, he’s managed to pick five schools that he’s looking at the hardest.

“My top five right now is Tennessee, Notre Dame, NC State, Michigan State, and Maryland. Those five schools are all about even right now, and they’ve all offered.”
Stone spent last year and the beginning of the summer checking out schools, trying to narrow down his list.
“I’ve already been to the summer camps at Tennessee, Notre Dame, Michigan, NC State, and Maryland. I had a good time at each of them. I’ve taken unofficial visits to Florida, Miami, Florida State, Pittsburgh, NC State, and Maryland. I’ve got a lot of thinking to do before I decide where I’m going to take my official visits.”
At 6-foot-4 and 230-pounds, Stone’s 40-yard dash speed of 4.6 seconds has made him tough to stop the last two years.
“The last two years I’ve had about 3,400 passing yards and 37 touchdowns.
Stone has a lot of time left before decision time, and he plans on taking as much of that time as he needs.
“I don’t know when I’m going to make my decision. A lot can happen between now and signing day, and I want to know all of my options.”
