It's flip season, and one of Tennessee's top prospects is changing his destination. On Monday evening, four-star quarterback Marcel Reed announced his decommitment from Ole Miss, flipping his pledge to Texas A&M just minutes afterwards.
Reed has been open about looking around in the last few weeks, taking official visits to Auburn and Texas A&M the last two weekends.
In the end, the Aggies got their guy.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound prospect was electric during his senior season, throwing for 2,198 yards and 27 touchdowns while rushing for an additional 944 yards and 15 touchdowns.
He helped lead his Montgomery Bell Academy (Tenn.) team to a 12-1 record and an appearance in the DII-AAA state championship game.
