Four-star QB makes a decision

Four-star quarterback Jerrard Randall out of Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade Madonna has come to a decision. The 6-foot-2, 189-pounder made his choice last night committing to a school he hasn't yet visited.
"I committed to Oregon," he said. "I just talked to Chip Kelly. He was telling me he'd like me to come up for a visit to Oregon, so I can commit on the trip.

"I am committed now though. He just has never had a player commit without seeing the school. I plan to be up there in July for they're camp, around July 4th or 5th."
How did Kelly react to the news of his decision?
"He was excited," he said. "I fit in perfectly in the offense and he liked my talent. He told me it was nice talking to me and if I have any questions I can call him at anytime."
Randall went further about his selection for the Ducks.
"I know Oregon is a great place," he said. "They had Dennis Dixon and I'm the same type of player. If he can win a Heisman in that offense, I can win a Heisman. I think it'll be a pretty good fit.
"I also love Coach Frost. We talk regularly, he's my recruiter and he is a real smooth guy, a smooth talker. I just like his personality. I like Coach Chip too. He's a real truthful guy. He's not going to lie to me. I talk to other coaches I don't know if they want me to play quarterback."
Oregon plans to bring in two to three quarterbacks this season, but the competition doesn't concern Randall one bit.
"They are bringing in other guys that I'll compete against, but I've already went against them and I know what they'll bring. I'm ready for the competition."
Randall picked the Ducks over offers from Florida State, Kansas, Michigan, Nebraska, Purdue, Rutgers, South Carolina, West Virginia and others.
