Four-star OL sets first official

Washington (D.C.) St. John's College High is 5-1 just over halfway through their 2008 campaign and four-star offensive guard Peter White is a big reason for that.
The massive 6-foot-5, 340-pound lineman is rated the No. 1 prospect in the District of Columbia by Rivals.com and holds offers from dozens of schools.

White has narrowed his list down to Florida, Maryland, Miami, Oregon and Tennessee, and on Sunday he announced that he has set up his first official visit.
"I've actually set up my official visit to Tennessee," White explained. "I'm going to be going down there for their game against Kentucky.
"I really don't know when I'm going to be taking the others but those five are the ones I'm looking at. I know the Tennessee visit will be during the season so I can watch them play, but I don't know if the others will be during or after the season."
White's squad won on Saturday 35-13. He has noticed a big improvement in his game since last season.
"I think I've definitely been improving in my pass protection," he said. "My leverage in my run blocking is a lot better too. I'm just doing a lot better than last year."
White said the five schools remaining on his list are even and he does not have a favorite.
