Four-star OL postpones visit

Washington (D.C.) St. John's College High offensive guard Peter White had an official visit to Tennessee scheduled for the weekend but he was unable to make the trip.
It was a difficult season for the Vols but it would have been a good game for White to attend. Tennessee defeated Kentucky 28-10 in Coach Phillip Fulmer's final game as head coach of the Volunteers.

While the 6-foot-5, 340-pound lineman did not make the trip, he isn't ruling out the possibility of rescheduling it for later.
"No, I didn't go to Tennessee," White said. "We just couldn't get out there. I talked to my family about it and we couldn't work it out. It's possible I'll reschedule it."
White had already taken an unofficial visit to Tennessee and said he was impressed with what he saw. He plans on taking an official visit to Maryland on December 12, and he is also hoping to set up at least two more official visits.
"I'm going to Maryland then, and I still want to set up trips to Miami and Oregon," he said.
"I've pretty much narrowed it to Maryland, Miami, Oregon and Tennessee. They're good programs and good schools. I just like them a lot."
White had a productive season but was disappointed that his St. John's College High squad was unable to win the championship.
