ATLANTA –- Class of 2018 four-star Teradja Mitchell updated his recruiting status status at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge Media Day.

THE LATEST: Mitchell has been steadily picking up offers during the spring, with Michigan State being his most recent one approximately three weeks ago. The linebacker also believes that Oregon may be close to officially joining the chase, while Florida, Florida State and Notre Dame are currently recruiting him the hardest.

When it comes to visits, Mitchell’s most recent one was to Virginia Tech for the Hokies' spring game. He also plans to check out Alabama, LSU, Florida, Florida State and Ohio State this summer. He has no plans to participate in any camps.

IN HIS WORDS: "I don’t have any early favorites. I’m treating every school the same. I know I’ll be trimming my list down to 10 at the end of the season.”

RIVALS REACTION: As a 2018, Mitchell is in no rush to make any kind of decision. One school to keep an eye on is LSU, which was Mitchell’s childhood favorite, but it has yet to express any serious interest. An offer from the Tigers would be a major one for Mitchell.
