Four-star Mississippi OT has new offers

A
couple of new scholarship offers have been issued to Jackson (Miss.) standout
Donovan Davis.
Auburn and South Carolina are the latest teams to make it official with the
massive four-star tackle from Callaway High School.
"South Carolina has been coming along a whole lot, and Auburn has been showing
me a lot of interest, too," said the 6-foot-7, 320-pound Davis. "My top five is
still pretty much the same -- Mississippi State, LSU, Georgia, Florida,
Tennessee -- but I'm probably going to take a look at South Carolina and Auburn
now."
Do those schools have a chance to get into his top five.
"Sure," he said. "Everybody's got a shot. It's pretty even right now."
Davis has offers from each team in the SEC with the exception of Kentucky and
Vanderbilt.
"I have lots of choices," he said. "It feels good to have so many people wanting
you to play for them, but I'm just trying to keep my head on straight and
concentrate on having a great senior year."
Davis added that he's looking for a college program that competes for the
national title, suits his academic field (computer engineering) and is
relatively close to his Mississippi home.
