Four-star McGee down to three

Four-star cornerback Brandon McGee is keeping things interesting in his recruitment. The Lauderhill (Fla.) Plantation standout has set an announcement date for Aug. 11 at his high school and he had narrowed his list to six finalists, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Miami, Florida State, Tennessee and Ohio State. On Saturday, he trimmed his list even further.
"I narrowed my list down from six to three," McGee said. "The remaining schools are FSU, Tennessee and Ole Miss. It's simply because those are the three schools that I felt the most comfortable with."

McGee has taken in the Florida State campus on multiple occasions and he hopes to possibly squeeze in visits to Tennessee and Ole Miss before he makes his final decision.
"I'm still trying to get that together to see if I can visit those two schools, maybe next week," he said. "It will be between those three and I'm still trying to decide."
McGee spoke briefly about each of his three finalists.
"Ole Miss, number one they have a brand new coaching staff, it's an up and coming program and their depth chart is intriguing," he said. "Tennessee is an SEC powerhouse and I had a great relationship with them when I went and visited. Florida State is a great program and that's always been one of my favorite programs."
When McGee does make his final decision, there will be a couple of main factors that he will be keeping in mind.
"The deciding factor will probably be the stability in the program, if the coaching staff is stable and the chance to play early," he said.
