Carnell Stewart has picked the
destination for his fifth official visit.
"I'm
going to go to USC on the 31st," said Stewart, a member of the Rivals.com
Southeast Top 100 team and the
No. 5 defensive tackle in the nation. "The main ones I'm looking at right now
are Colorado, Florida, USC and LSU.
"I'm going to Miami this weekend, but I heard they've got five D-Linemen
already, so I'm not sure about them now. I'm still going to go down there and
check things out, see what their plans are for me."
Stewart (6-6, 297, 4.75) -- who had 18 sacks as a senior at John Curtis
Christian -- said he was impressed by his visit to LSU last weekend.
"It was real nice," he said. "I got to meet a lot of good people at their
school. They made me feel real wanted there. I liked the new D-Line coach,
Travis Jones. He was a nice dude. We talked a lot about their defense and how
good I would fit in. It gave me something to think about."
