The San Diego State Aztecs are having a solid recruiting season but there was one player who was in the sunny southern California hamlet before Christmas checking out the SDSU campus.
Even though Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft four star linebacker/tight end Lance Broadus (6-1, 215, 4.5) had good trip he will continue to take his visits.
“The trip to San Diego State trip went well,” Broadus said. “I liked my trip and it was nice. It was like I never left home.”
“I liked the Aztec coaching staff and the players were cool,” Broadus said. “I will take all of my visits though before making my decision.”
Broadus will be heading to Nebraska this weekend on January 10th. He also has a trip scheduled to Arizona on January 17th and that will conclude his five visits.
“I’m keeping an open mind until I take all my trips,” Broadus said.
Broadus took an early visit to Oklahoma on October 18th and also visited Oregon on November 15th.
Though he liked OU a lot, he liked Oregon even better and the Ducks are still very much in the hunt.
“I liked the players at Oregon,” Broadus said. “They were up front and they told me about how the coaches are. Oregon is still very much in the hunt. It’s close to my house and I like the Oregon linebacker’s coach.”
Broadus is rated the number ten inside linebacker prospect by Rivals.
