Four-star LB starts taking visits

Four-star linebacker Quanzell Lambert of Sicklerville (N.J.) Timber Creek has helped his team to an undefeated start to their season, and with a bye week this past weekend, he took the opportunity to hit the road for his first official visit. Lambert will continue his busy schedule with his second official visit this coming weekend.
For Lambert's first official visit, he made his way to Northwestern.

"It went good," said Lambert, who is 6-foot-2 and 230-pounds. "All around, it was a nice environment. The campus was great and the academic buildings were nice."
Some of the highlights of the visit for Lambert was the interaction with the coaching staff and players.
"I met all the coaches and they all seem like really good guys," said Lambert, who mentioned that this was his first visit to Chicago. "Meeting the players was good too. They all seem like good guys."
With a game this Friday night, Lambert will be heading out for his second official visit this Saturday to check out the Iowa Hawkeyes.
"I want to check out their academics, meet all the coaches and hopefully watch a good game," said Lambert, who has been able to gain some additional information on the Hawkeyes from his former teammate and current freshman Quinton Alston. "I've talked to him a couple of times. I'm definitely going to talk to him a little more when I get down there."
After Iowa, Lambert still has visits scheduled to Nebraska, Oklahoma and Alabama. He hopes to make a decision after his season, but before Christmas, if possible.
Lambert leads the undefeated Chargers against Camden Wilson on Friday night, and is happy with how his game has progressed from last season.
"I've improved all around," said Lambert. "I'm more mentally focused and I'm smarter about the game."
