Four-Star LB Hoping To Speed Process

Cherry Hill (N.J.) Camden Catholic linebacker Joe Kedra would like to get the recruiting process over with soon.
"I don't want to drag it out," said the 6-foot-4, 225-pounder. "I'd like to decide by the end of my season if possible."

That would mean making a choice from among many offers.
"The schools I like that have offered are Penn State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Boston College, Virginia and Nebraska. I would also love to get an offer from Miami but I don't know if that will happen."
Kedra has already visited Penn State and North Carolina and would like to take official visits to some others very soon.
"I would say right now I'd visit Penn State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Nebraska and either Miami, Virginia or Boston College if I were to take all five officials. But I don't really want to take that much time so I'll probably see a couple I haven't seen yet."
What does he want in a school?
"I want to get into a program that's going to be good, I would like to go to a bowl game. Academics are important too, because not everyone is going to play football forever and I'll need to find a job afterwards."
He's received calls from everyone on his list.
"I spoke to the linebacker coaches coaches at Penn State, Virginia, North Carolina and Iowa. I like (North Carolina Head Coach) Bunting, he's really enthusiastic."
