Four-Star LB Has A Ring Of Schools

Chesapeake (Va.) Western Branch inside linebacker Vince Hall is only choosing among schools within a specific range from his home.
"I'm limiting it to around nine hours from home," said the 6-foot-1, 230-pound four-star linebacker. "I don't want my family to have to travel too far to see me play."

That means he'll be choosing among the best schools in the Atlantic and surrounding areas.
"I like Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Maryland and North Carolina the best with schools like South Carolina, Pitt and Virginia behind them," he said. "I would say that Tennessee and Virginia Tech are at the top, but I'll need all five official visits before I decide anything."
Hall has already been to Penn State, Virginia Tech and North Carolina, but he likes Tennessee based on reputation.
"They are a school that will always win games and play for the SEC and national titles," he said. "I've heard a lot of good things about them, but I have a bunch of academic questions to ask."
Hall is more familiar with Tech.
"I've been there for team camps and I know the coaches and players somewhat," he said. "Of my favorites, North Carolina is the closest though. They're only around three hours away while Tech is six hours and Tennessee is around nine hours."
Hall admits his list could change some.
"There might be room for one school to sneak in and get an official visit," he said. "A lot depends on how the early part of the season goes and who I feel most comfortable with when the coaches start calling."
