Four-Star LB Could Leave State

Daytona (Fla.) Mainland linebacker Buster Davis has two visits set up and it’s looking more and more like he’ll be leaving the Sunshine State to play his football.
“I go to Ohio State December 14th and Southern California on January 25th,” said the 5-foot-11, 228-pounder. “My favorites right now are Ohio State and Nebraska.”

Davis has 40 tackles and three sacks so far this season for Mainland even though, “everyone is trying to block me on every play.” His team is 2-1 and he hopes to set up more trips for after his season.
“I might decide later than February,” he said. “I also want to visit Florida State and Nebraska and I don’t know when I’ll be able to. Right now it’s Ohio State and Nebraska tied for first and followed closely by Florida State. I’m not really committed to staying in Florida.”
Davis is the 5th-ranked inside linebacker in the country.
