None of those schools are among the eight that have offered Williams, but the Minnesota and Missouri have been in regular contact and he has visited both schools in the past.

“Missouri is a great coaching staff and I liked their facilities,” Williams said. “I enjoyed the experience when I was there, and Missouri is a great school.”

At Minnesota Williams is being recruited by offensive line coach Brian Callahan, but he has also spoken with head coach P.J. Fleck in the past.

“Coach Cal is a very real person and he coaches like a real person,” Williams said. “I like their staff and I like how they approach me. My conversations with them have been very straightforward.”

Between now and when he starts taking visits, Williams will be focused on his track season which starts next week. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound prospect runs the 110 hurdles, 60 meters and also the 4x400 and 4x100 relays.
