One of the most sought after wide receivers on the JUCO level is four-star James Finley (6-3, 200, 4.45) from Compton (Calif.) College. This is the second go around for Finely, he was a highly coveted wide receiver out of high school when he starred for Los Angeles (Calif.) Manual Arts three years ago.
Finley has all the tangibles and intangibles that you love in a wide receiver. He the size that you like and he has the speed of the smaller, faster guys, he has it all in one package.
So far with some season left to go Finley has 46 receptions for 717 yards and five touchdowns.
Maybe that is the reason that Finley has offers from Arizona State, Cal, Oregon, Boise State, Nevada and Marshall.
“I don’t really have a favorite as of yet,” Finley said. “But I think it’s going to come down to Arizona State, Cal or Oregon.”
“I have a tentative visit set to Oregon State on November 20th,” Finley said. “I will go there if we don’t make it to a bowl.”
Just a reminder for everyone, Finley signed a LOI with Oregon State out of high school.
“I have another visit set to Oregon on December 3rd,” Finley said. “I will be taking with my friend and college and high school teammate (four-star offensive tackle) Kevin Myers.”
“I will set the rest of my visits in the very near future,” Finley said. “I’m not sure who those visits will be.”
