The sophomore wide receiver currently has eight offers on the table. He has taken one visit, has one more set and he's looking to set at least two more during January.
Straiten caught approximately 35 passes and score seven touchdowns as a sophomore. He scored three of his touchdowns in the semi-final championship game.

According from Straiten, he offers on the table from UNLV, Arizona, Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Oregon State, Texas A&M, Kansas State and North Carolina.
The talented wide receiver has already visited UNLV on October 7th and his next visit will be to Arizona on January 13th.
"I will try to set my last three visits here in January," Straiten said. "I didn't want to take any trips in December because the student bodies wouldn't be on campus."
"I want to take my visits when the whole student-body is on campus," Straiten said. "I want to get a feel of the school as a whole when class is in session."
"I would like to visit Texas A&M," Straiten said. "And I will most likely visit Oregon State."
"I really liked UNLV when I took my visit there," Straiten said. "I have a great relationship with their head coach Mike Sanford."
"I hear from Coach Sanford every week," Straiten said. "It means a lot to have the head coach calling. I also hear from Mike Bradeson."
"I'm in Las Vegas right now (Jan. 3rd)," Straiten said. "I clicked with a lot of players."
"Coach Sanford recruited me out of high school when he was at Utah," Straiten said. "He said he remembers what I did back then and knows what I bring to the table."
Straiten has all the tools to be successful on the D-I level. He has the size and the toughness of a possession receiver. He runs great routes and will catch the ball over the middle.
The thing that makes Straiten stand out is not only does he have the size, but has the speed of a smaller quicker player. He'll make the tough catch and has the speed to burn you deep.
Another thing that recruiters like about Straiten is he has good leadership qualities.
Straiten attended Antioch high school. He has three years to play two and will be a May graduate.
