Four-star juco DT nearing a decision

Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College defensive tackle Willie Williams committed to Oklahoma State last summer, but the new Cowboy coaching staff told the four-star rated prospect they wanted to move in another direction upon taking over the program.
"I visited Kansas State this weekend," the 6-foot-3, 304-pound Williams said. "I think the visit went really well. I had a good time. They started to recruit me about two weeks ago when they found out Oklahoma State wasn't going to recruit me.

"Quinton Echols was my host this weekend. He's a great guy and he told me what he enjoyed about Manhattan, the program and the coaches. He says he is glad he made the decision to go there and he told me I would fit in well."
Even after enjoying the trip, Williams isn't quite ready to make a decision.
"I am going to call my parents back home and talk to them," he said. "I want to discuss it with them and tell them what all I saw on this visit and compare it to Troy State. Those are the two schools I am looking at. I'm not favoring anyone right now. I'm trying to not be too high on K-State, yet. I just got home and I don't want the adrenaline to affect my decision. I think it will still be a good thing after the trip wears off. I hope to have my decision in the next two days. I just want to think it all over and then decide."
Williams said good coaching is the biggest factor he is looking for in his choice.
"I want to find coaches who can help me get to the NFL. That is my goal and I need to find a good situation where I can make the strides I need to get to the NFL."
