Four-star juco athlete has offers

City College (Calif.) San Francisco (CCSF) is one of the best junior college programs in the country. Every year colleges from coast-to-coast recruit players from Coach George Rush’s program and this year is no different.
Rivals.com gets reacquainted with super playmaker four-star wide receiver Ruben Jackson (5-11, 190, 4.38). Now we would like to reintroduce to another standout from CCSF.

This standout should be good because he does have great bloodlines. He is Jackson’s cousin four-star athlete Lavell Hawkins (5-11, 175, 4.4).
Like Jackson, Hawkins is a human highlight waiting to happen. He has explosive speed and is known for making plays.
“Everything is good,” Hawkins said. “I’m having a good season and I’m enjoying playing with my cousin.”
“I don’t know my exact stats,” Hawkins said. “But I’ve scored eight touchdowns.”
“I have played both ways and am on all special teams.”
Who ever lands Jackson may get another sweet gift as Hawkins would like to continue playing with his cousin when he gets on the D-I level. Hawkins signed with LSU in February but decided to enroll at CCSF instead.
“A lot of folks think I’m still with LSU,” Hawkins said. “But I’m still getting good recruiting attention.”
Hawkins has offers on the table from Cal, Arizona and Mississippi State.
Hawkins is a predictor and has four years to play three. He will be available in May.
