Four-star Indiana OT updates status

Jake Meador is one of the highest-ranked prospects in the state of Indiana and his offer list could be growing soon.
Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Ole Miss and Northern Illinois have verbally offered Meador, a 6-foot-6, 280-pound offensive tackle from Whiteland, Indiana.

Those aren't the only schools involved.
"There's Wisconsin, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Clemson and Vandy," Meador said on Wednesday. "I know they're all interested."
Of the schools that have offered, Meador has already visited Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville and Ole Miss. He said each of those visits went well.
Those schools that haven't offered might not have too long. Meador plans on making his decision over the summer, though he doesn't have a date or even a specific month in mind yet. It could happen any time after the end of his junior year.
"I'm pretty much open," Meador said. "There's something I like about each and every school. They all have great coaches. That's the big thing.
"Obviously, education is going to be big but from a football standpoint I really want a coaching staff I can build a relationship with and get to know. I want to find coaches that can help me out when I get to the college level. I'll also look at what kind of people I find at each place and just the feel I get from all the students."
Meador said he couldn't pick out one or two schools that have been recruiting him the hardest.
"They've all been recruiting me pretty hard. It's pretty even," he concluded.
Meador is ranked the No. 241 prospect on the Rivals250 and is a four-star prospect.
