Four-star hopes to visit Ohio State soon

Alex Kozan has been talking to Ohio State for a while and the Buckeyes finally decided to offer so the four-star offensive tackle from Castle Rock (Colo.) Valor Christian is looking to visit soon.
Kozan, a 6-foot-4, 295-pound prospect, is looking to visit as soon as this weekend when the Buckeyes host Wisconsin or possibly for the Indiana matchup in two weeks. If that doesn't happen a trip would probably have to wait until Valor Christian wraps up its season.

"They had been calling me every week, I had been talking to coach (Jim) Bollman, and they said they'd let me know whether they'd offer or not," Kozan said.
"They did and I look at it as a great opportunity. They have a great business school and their program is a little uncertain right now so there are a couple things I'm going to look at but I feel really lucky to have this opportunity and I'm excited about it.
"I want to get down there as soon as possible. I might maybe get it for next weekend if I can. I'm going to set it up whether it's next weekend or the Indiana game. If not one of those two weekends playoffs are coming pretty quick so I might have to wait until after the season. I'd love to get down there one of these next few weekends."
Kozan, who has already taken an official visit to Iowa, was supposed to take a trip to LSU this past weekend for its game against Auburn but he decided to wait until later in the season to visit Baton Rouge. He's rescheduling that trip for the weekend of Nov. 12 when LSU plays Western Kentucky.
There are some uncertainties at Ohio State, Kozan said, from what happens to the coaching staff after this season to whether the Buckeyes will be hit with sanctions so he said he's going to take a closer look at all that during the decision-making process.
For Kozan, the coaching staff is the most important factor.
"Coaching is a big part of my college career so I'll be looking at that," Kozan said.
"There have been some rumors that coach (Luke) Fickell is going to be replaced and a new guy could come in and scrap the stuff. I'd hate to see that happen because coach Fickell is a great guy and so is coach Bollman and so is coach (Dick) Tressel. All their coaches are great guys.
"If that does happen I would have to reassess it and see if it would be a good fit for me so I'll definitely be looking to see as far as their coaching situation. As far as sanctions I'm not too worried about it unless there is a bowl ban. Other than that I'm not too worried about it."
