Four-star Hewitt knows three for officials

Lufkin, Texas four-star safety Leonard Hewitt knows three schools he plans to take official visits to. Who has the 5-foot-10, 175-pounder decided on and what makes him want to check them out?
"I know I'll definitely be taking officials to Miami, Texas Tech and LSU for sure," he said. "I like the coaching staffs at all of them, they are all good teams and I've enjoyed my conversations on the phone with them. They all make me feel like if I played for them it would be the right decision for me.

"I don't hold an offer from Miami, but I've talked to the coaches and they've just told me to sit back because it's a wait in process."
The Rivals250 prospect previously listed Texas A&M and LSU as his leaders.
"They might be, but it's pretty open now," he said. "I like that both of them are powerhouse teams that get the ball around. They both have a lot of speed and everything you'd want for a few years."
This season Hewitt has helped Lufkin to a 10-0 record.
"I've been doing pretty well. I've got 30 tackles and seven interceptions," he said. "I'm seeing that I and the rest of our team are coming together, trying our hardest and we have a real positive attitude. We're focused one game at a time as the playoffs start up."
