Nick Wilson has talked highly of Arizona throughout his recruitment but with many other offers coming in it seemed like the Fresno (Calif.) Fresno East running back would wait a while before making his decision.
That changed Saturday when the four-star running back who shined at the Rivals Camp Series by Under Armour last weekend in Los Angeles informed Arizona's coaching staff that he wanted to commit.
Everything seemed to fit perfectly for Wilson, who loved his recent unofficial visit to Tucson, liked how the coaches saw him fitting in the offense and he enjoyed everything about the place.
"I was really impressed with Arizona," Wilson said.
"I really fell in love with the coaching staff and the city, the program as a whole and with the players. I really felt Arizona was going to be the best fit. I was comfortable there. Their offense fits my running style."
During his visit to Arizona, Wilson met with star running back Ka'Deem Carey and the Wildcats' coaching staff commented how the two have similar running styles.
Wilson, a 5-foot-11, 195-pound prospect, said he fits perfectly into Arizona's system and that definitely played a big role through his decision-making process.
"That played a big factor," Wilson said.
"Overall I'm just really happy with my commitment and I'm ready to see what my future has in store for me."
Rivals.com rates the four-star as the No. 211 prospect in the 2014 class.
