Four-star has huge game

Four-star defensive end Alex Parsons (6-5, 260, 4.8) from Irvine (Calif.) Woodbridge had a monster game last Friday Evening worthy of his lofty ranking. Parsons was dominating on both sides of the ball and just maybe had the best defensive game of the season.
Just how good was Parsons last Friday, you ask? How about racking up 20 tackles in one single game. Is that impressive enough for you?

This talented football player also had one sack.
On offense, Parsons rushed for 50 yards on eight carries and one touchdown. He also had a one catch for 48 yards.
For the season Parsons has racked up 45 tackles and three sacks in only three games.
Parsons is one of those guys who were flying underneath the radar somewhat until he exploded at the UCLA camp back in April. He received an offer from the Bruins shortly after.
Parsons also attended the USC camp in June where he was so impressive that he received an offer from the National Champions.
Besides the two cross town rivals, Parson has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Kentucky and Utah.
Colorado, Oregon and Notre Dame are also showing Parsons a lot of recruiting interest but they haven't pulled the trigger with an offer as a of yet.
Parsons has one visit set to USC on shortly before Christmas on December 16th.
"I don't have any clear-cut favorites right now," Parsons said. "Everyone is pretty much neck and neck."
"ASU, Oregon, UCLA, USC, Washington State and Kentucky have called," Parsons said. "Pretty much everybody who is recruiting me has called."
Parsons was a first-team all-city and first-team all-league performer as a linebacker but he will earn his scholarship as a defensive end.
As junior from his linebacker position, Parsons racked up 97 tackles, six sacks, four fumbles caused and two picks.
