The Clemson Tigers are the newest team to enter the mix for one of the Peach
State's top players.
Four-star LaGrange running back
(6-0, 195, 4.45) said he has expanded his list of top schools to include Clemson
after they made an official scholarship offer about two weeks ago.

18 (offers) now," said Thornton, who rushed for 1,592 yards and 21 touchdowns as
a junior in leading LaGrange to the Class 3A state championship. "I'm just
trying to see what they all have to say, but those are the main seven."
LaGrange just wrapped up two-a-days in preparation for the coming season, and
Thornton says he feels better than ever.
"I feel like I'm a lot faster," he
said. "I've been working hard on agilities and stuff like that. I'm a lot more
explosive than I was at this time last summer."
That could spell trouble for
"I'm going for 2,000 yards and at least 25 touchdowns this
season. Those are my goals I'm hoping to reach," Thornton said.
