Four-star Georgia DT sets four visits

Four-star Grayson (Ga.) defensive tackle Lorenzo Washington has scheduled four of his five official visits.
“I’ve got four set up in January,” he said. “I’ll be going to Bama on Jan. 9, Georgia on the 16th, South Carolina on the 23rd and Duke on the 30th. I’m not sure on a fifth yet. Auburn has offered me now, and Florida is trying to get into the picture. It might be one of those.”

He also has offers from Maryland, North Carolina and Louisville, among others.
Asked if he had a leader at this time, Washington said: “Georgia and Bama are still a step ahead of the other ones right now. They’re about even. I like both of them a lot. They’re so close in terms of atmosphere and tradition and the schools in general.”
So how will he decide if it boils down to the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide?
“I think it will just be a matter of me waking up some morning and it feeling right,” Washington said.
Washington (6-5, 270, 4.7) is rated the nation’s No. 16 defensive tackle by Rivals.com. He’s recorded eight sacks this season in helping lead Grayson to a 6-4 record and a berth in the state playoffs.
Academically, he carries a 2.7 GPA and has scored an 860 on the SAT. He projects as a qualifier with those marks, but will take the test again in an effort to score higher.
