Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast standout
Aubrey McPhadden took his first visit to N.C. State last
weekend.
"It went great," he said. "I had a real fun time. It
was very, very nice. I liked the coaching staff a whole lot and the
atmosphere there for the game. They beat Florida State, so that was pretty
impressive.
"They are one of my favorites now, them and Florida
State. It may be hard to beat out the homestate team, but they gave me
something to think about. Their program is going in the right direction. I liked all the new facilities and stuff they showed us."
McPhadden (6-6, 320, 5.15) is a member of the Rivals.com
Southeast
Top 100 team and the No. 9 offensive tackle in the nation.
His only other scheduled official visit is for Florida State on Jan. 24.
Maryland, LSU and Florida round out his top five and are likely to get
official visits.
"I like them all, but they're a little bit behind
the first two now," he said.
