Four-star DT talks UMD visit

It has been very quiet lately for Ricky Walker. However, the defensive tackle from Hampton (Va.) Bethel visit Maryland last weekend for the Terps' junior day.
"It was really great," said the 6-foot-2, 270-pound Walker. "I got there and we were able to tour their facilities. I talked to coach Brattan, my recruiter, and I talked to the head coach, Coach Edsall, and it went very well."

Walker was on hand for Maryland's basketball game against Duke with a number of other high profile recruits including Damian Prince, Travon McMillian, Melvin Keihn, Jesse Aniebonam, D'Andre Payne and others.
Walker has big plans for this offseason, including another visit to a different ACC school for their basketball game against the Blue Devils.
"On March 9 I'm going to North Carolina for their basketball game against Duke," he said. "I'll be at the Richmond Rivals.com and Under Armour camp but other than that I'm not sure.
The four-star Walker is keeping in contact with all of the schools that have offered him but he said one school that hasn't offered yet has been coming after him very hard.
"Tennessee is recruiting me a lot right now through Facebook and I'm getting a lot of mail from them too," said Walker.
Other than the Maryland offer, Walker has offers from Virginia Tech, Penn State, North Carolina, Boston College, N.C. State, Connecticut and others.
