Four-star Baldwin (La.) West St. Mary standout Tre'Vell Dixon has several choices when it comes to his future college destination. Offers continue to roll in with Purdue and Minnesota both recently extending offers his way.
In January, Dixon became the first member of the Nebraska Cornhuskers 2013 recruiting class. He has since re-opened his recruitment, but the Cornhuskers are still in the mix.
"They're still recruiting me. I'm just not hearing as much from them as I used to," Dixon said. "We still keep in contact, just not as much as we used to."
At this point he is taking in the recruiting process as it comes and is not ready to name a leader. He is ready to name three who standout though.
"TCU is starting to standout, Houston is starting to standout, Arizona State is starting to standout," Dixon said. "I like all three of them."
Dixon is currently listed at safety, but he says each of his three standout colleges are are also looking at him at wide receiver. The 6-1, 195-pound prospect certainly has the athletic ability to play at a number of positions and is willing to play wherever a team wants him to play, but he does have a preference.
"I like playing offense. I just like to have the ball in my hands," Dixon said. "I'm a playmaker.
He currently does not have any visits scheduled but he does have a few official visits in mind.
"I'm planning to visit Arizona State, TCU, and Nebraska," Dixon said.
Dixon is currently ranked No. 13 in Louisiana and No. 23 among safety prospects.
