ORLANDO, Fla.Arizona, Indiana, Texas A&M and UCLA were in the mix for Jason Harris, but it was Mel Tucker and Colorado that won out for the defensive end out of Gilbert (Ariz.) Higley.

The 6-foot-7, 220-pound Harris is also a basketball player, and he drew some interest there but decided that football is his future.

He took his official visits, and the one to Colorado took place back in November. The Buffaloes had been trending since, and Harris made it official Thursday night.

"I loved Boulder and I really like coach Tucker," Harris said earlier this week. "I felt very comfortable and I loved the family environment there."

Harris is an intriguing prospect on the defensive line due to his length and athleticism. His father, Sean Harris, played football at Arizona and the NFL.
