Jeremiah Martin had a great time during his visit to Texas A&M over the weekend.

The four-star defensive end from San Bernardino (Calif.) Cajon had such a good experience in College Station that he really could not name one thing he did not like.

“Everything,” Martin said when asked what stood out during his visit. “The atmosphere, the fans, the people and the 12th Man really got to me. I loved it.

“Overall, best visit ever.”

That is a big statement from Martin, who has the ability to play as a straight defensive end or as a hybrid outside linebacker.

The San Bernardino Cajon standout has wanted to visit Texas A&M for a long time and his trip this past weekend for the game against top-ranked Alabama did not disappoint.

Neither did his conversations with the coaching staff over the weekend.

Martin, rated as the No. 10 weak-side defensive end nationally, said he was highly impressed by what the Texas A&M coaching staff discussed with him - and how honest they were, not feeding him lines but telling him exactly how they envisioned him in the program.

“The truth,” Martin said. “Something you’ll actually want to hear about playing your freshman year and goals they have set for me.”

As for other official visits, Martin has said he wants to take trips to Alabama, Colorado and Oregon. UCLA, USC, Utah and many others remain involved his recruitment.
