SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Jeremiah Martin has taken two official visits so far this season.

And he loved both.

The four-star defensive end from San Bernardino (Calif.) Cajon said Texas A&M and Oklahoma are neck-and-neck in his recruitment and even though he hasn’t taken all his trips the Aggies and Sooners look good at this point.

“At the end of the day, I haven’t taken all of my visits, but they’re my top two,” Martin said.

For a long time, the four-star defensive end wanted to visit Texas A&M and the trip to College Station did not disappoint. Martin had a similar experience at Oklahoma as well.

“That visit felt like home,” Martin said of Texas A&M. “It felt like I was at home. I really liked that visit. It was great. They’re neck-and-neck. (Oklahoma) felt like home also.”

Expecting to be at the USC-UCLA game this weekend, Martin said he’s also planning official visits to Utah and Washington, that one should happen in January, and then he’s considering a fifth trip as well.

The four-star defensive end also took an unofficial visit to Alabama in August and loved it. The Crimson Tide are also being highly considered in his recruitment but have some room to make up.

“What stood out to me was the tradition part about it and the weightlifting,” Martin said. “It was pretty amazing how you’ll lift a couple times a week and you’ll run more than you lift. That was pretty amazing because everybody on the team was huge.”
