Vegas Franklin says he has three
teams coming to the forefront.
"I'd probably say it's between LSU and FSU right now,"
he said. "Those two have been really pushing the hardest, doing a great job
recruiting me. It would be tough to beat them out right now. Miami is the other
one. They're still pretty high on my list."
Franklin (6-3, 220, 4.6) is a member of the Rivals.com
Southeast Top 100 team and the
No. 10 weakside defensive end in the nation. He visited LSU on Dec. 6 and
Oklahoma on Dec. 20. He'll be going to Florida State (1/10), Tennessee (1/17)
and Miami (1/24) the next three weekends.
"I'm letting the visits tell me where I need to be," he
said. "It's still open for all of them, but those I told you about earlier have
been making the best impression on me when they call or come to our house."
Franklin finished his senior season with more than 100
tackles and 10 sacks. He had 24 1/2 sacks his last two years at East St. John.
