Benning Potoa'e said he felt like he was home on his Washington official visit last weekend. Soon, that will be a reality.

The four-star defensive end from nearby Lakewood (Wash.) Lake committed to Washington over UCLA and many others Thursday at a ceremony at his high school.
A lot of factors played a role in Potoa'e's decision. He lives nearby, he felt incredibly comfortable on his official visit and other trips during his recruitment and he absolutely fell in love with the Washington coaching staff.
"It was phenomenal," Potoa'e said after his visit. "I loved it. I enjoyed it. I didn't think I could learn anything more about Washington but they just completely had my mind blown.
"Meeting with the coaches and getting closer with them, feeling the vibe they had, they really care about their players and invest more than just football in them. They want to build them as a man and a student, not only as a football player."
There is no question that UCLA was seriously involved in his recruitment until the end because the four-star defensive end definitely loved his interaction with those coaches and his visit to UCLA really set the bar high.
Potoa'e especially liked how UCLA's coaching staff envisioned using him and he raved about the academic opportunities in Westwood.
But when it came down to brass tacks, the four-star decided to stay closer to home in a program he was more comfortable with. His brother, Sione, picked the Huskies a few years back and so it now runs in the family.
Rivals.com rates Potoa'e as the No. 21 strong-side defensive end in the 2015 class.
