Four Star DE has Two Big 12 schools

Chris Turner, the Rivals 100 #14 Defensive Tackle from Ed White High School in Jacksonville, Florida is getting a lot of attention. The four-star phenom is 265 pounds and runs a 4.6 forty and has grown an inch this fall and measures in at 6-foot-4-inches.
Ed White is off to a 3-2 start, losing the two first games of the season in heartbreakers. Currently 2-2 in conference, Ed White will make the playoffs if they win two more conference games. There are six games remaining in the season, seven if a game cancelled due to the crisis in New York City is rescheduled.

So far this year, Turner has tallied 23 tackles and nine sacks from his defensive tackle position.
When asked who has offered him a scholarship, Turner exasperatedly replies, “Everybody!”
Well how about Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Southern California, Nebraska, LSU, Oklahoma and South Carolina? “All of them and then some,” Chris said.
Which coach stands out? “Coach Ogeron from (Southern California). He came to me with real talk.” Real talk? “Yeah, up front and honest, you know.”
Although Chris states that it will be quite a relief to get the whole recruiting process over, he is still wide open. He plans on taking unofficial visits to the Florida “Big Three” – Miami, Florida and Florida State - and possibly Georgia as well - to free up official visits for more distant colleges. “In fact, I’ll be a the Florida State-Miami game next weekend.”
Although a Florida State fan while growing up, Turner reiterates that he is wide open.
The two Big XII schools that stand out for Chris are Oklahoma and Nebraska.
“I like Oklahoma for their winning tradition and Nebraska because I would have the opportunity to play early.”
