Four-star DE Bryce Langston to LSU

On Tuesday, Ocala (Fla.) Vangard defensive end Bryce Langston was not expected to sign. On Wednesday morning, word spread that a signing was possible, and the four-star decided to ink with LSU.

Florida at one time had Langton committed, and the Gators were viewed as the favorite since he had tripped to the Swamp over 30 times the last few years.

He has never visited LSU, but connected with the coaching staff and is now headed for Baton Rouge.

"I love what LSU did last year and the defense they always play," Langston told Rivals in an interview last month. "Coach O is a great coach and I like defensive line coach Johnson a lot too.

"They talk to me about the opportunity there, how I could get on the field early, and what I could do if I choose LSU. I have not been able to visit LSU because of COVID-19, but I have done a virtual visit, and I loved the dorms, the stadium, the campus and everything I saw."

This one all looked like Florida throughout the process, but reports are the Gators and Langston parted ways
