Four-star DB ends up committing

Missouri isn’t recruiting many junior college players in this class, but they got one they really wanted. This afternoon Quincy Butler committed to the Tigers.
“Yes he did commit,” said Tyler Junior College assistant coach John Furnas. “He did it this afternoon. There were two coaches from Missouri here today and that’s when he told them. I know a lot of people were recruiting him. Mark Stoops from Arizona is here right now talking to him, but I know he’s solid on Missouri.”

Butler, a 6-foot-2, 190 pound defensive back is the second highly rated player at that position Missouri has recruited from Tyler Junior College. Last year they signed Nino Williams who is starting this year.
Butler is very similar to Williams in terms of ability and talent.
“He’s got good speed and he’s 6-2,” Furnas said. “He can do a lot of things. He’ll be a good player at Missouri.”
Butler took visits to Missouri, Kansas, and TCU.
