Four-star DB charged

According to the Hamilton Journal-News, four-star cornerback D.J. Hunter of Middleton, Ohio, has been charged with felonious assault after allegedly shooting a 15-year-old boy in the face with a BB gun.
The newspaper said the incident occurred Monday in Middletown, and Hunter was arrested Tuesday at school.

He posted bond Wednesday and is now free. Hunter, a long-time Tennessee pledge, apparently will no longer end up in Knoxville because of the incident.
Multiple sources both in Knoxville and Middleton have confirmed that he no longer will factor into Tennessee's plans for the class of 2009.
Hunter originally committed to Tennessee last July, turning down scholarship offers from programs like Ohio State, Illinois, Michigan State, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, Vanderbilt, Purdue, Maryland, Wake Forest and Wisconsin.
During the transition from Phillip Fulmer to Lane Kiffin, Hunter had already been looking around, including taking an official visit to West Virginia. He is said recently he is strongly considering Illinois.
