Four star commits two more visits

Defensive back Terrail Lambert (6-0, 185, 4,43) from Ventura (Calif.) Saint Bonaventure is racking up the offers you would think a four star prospect would. It also helps that he is playing like one too. Lambert has been standing out at three different defensive positions in 2003.
Lambert has shined at safety, cornerback and linebacker this season. In seven games this season, Lambert has racked up 51 tackles, five broken up passes, three sacks and one pick. He returned his one pick for a score.

Lambert has offers from Florida State, Notre Dame, Northwestern, Ohio State, USC, UCLA, Washington State, Oregon State, Oregon, and Nebraska.
Lambert has already visited Florida State and Notre Dame. He has already committed to taking trips to USC and Ohio State. The dates haven’t been set yet.
“I would like to visit USC for the UCLA game and Ohio State for the Michigan game,” Lambert said.
Lambert was unaware that both games are played on the same day. His last visit will come out of one of the other teams that have offered him a scholarship.
How did Lambert like his trips so far?
“I liked Florida State because they have run major college football for the last decade,” Lambert said. “The coaching prestige is really great.”
“Coach (Bobby) Bowden just past up Joe Paterno as the coach with most wins on the Division I level,” Lambert said. “That would be something in itself just to say ‘I was coached by Coach Bowden the man with the most wins in the history of Division I football.’”
“Florida State stresses academics and they should,” Lambert said. “But you never hear about how they stress education all you ever hear about is their football program.”
“I like Notre Dame because athletics and academics go hand and hand,” Lambert said. “Everyone knows who the Fighting Irish are.”
“You can leave the country and everyone knows who Notre Dame is,” Lambert said. “They also have a great alumni network.”
“Another thing about Notre Dame that I liked it was a lot like my high school.”
What does Lambert like about USC and Ohio State?
“USC along with Notre Dame and Florida State has a great tradition,” Lambert said. “One advantage of going to USC is I will be familiar with the area. After all I’m from California.”
“Coach (Pete) Carroll brought USC back to greatness,” Lambert said. “Another thing about USC is Pete Carroll is a defensive back specialist so you know you’re going to learn a lot.”
“The Buckeyes are the defending champions,” Lambert said. “That isn’t the only reason why I like Ohio State, but you can’t help but notice what they are doing”
“I also like the diversity at Ohio State,” Lambert said. “It can only help you grow as a person.”
Something to consider during the recruiting process. FSU running back Lorenzo Booker is Lambert’s cousin and they are very close.
“I still have to chose the school that works best for me,” Lambert. “If I choose FSU it will be nice to know that you have someone who is close to you to show you around and know that what he is saying is real.”
“When it comes down to making my decision,” Lambert said. “It will come down to a gut choice.”
