Four-star CB Hill cuts list to five

Four-star cornerback Cris Hill out of Highland Springs, Va. has cut his list of favorites to five. The 5-foot-11, 166-pounder plans to visit each of his finalists before making a decision.
"I'm in the process of scheduling visit with schools and talking to some of the coaches," he said. "I'm looking at taking visits to Tennessee, Michigan, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Florida. I want to go to those schools to get a full evaluation of what I think about them. I'm very interested in their programs and I like what I see out of them, but I'm going to get more into it after the season. Right now I'm focused on helping our team in the playoffs.

"The big thing I'm going to be looking for on my visits is my comfort level. I want to see if the school feels right to me if I go there."
Before Highland Springs heads to the playoffs, they have one more big games against rival Varina tonight.
"That's going to decide the capitol district championship," he said. "This is big because it'll be for the season. It's a huge game and this is what you work for all year. Everything is on the line in this one."
Meanwhile, Hill has stepped up big this season for the Springers.
"I've done really well this year," he said. "I've got a total of 10 touchdowns, nine receiving and one on defense. I also have two interceptions and 30 tackles. I can say I've done pretty good and because I'm not getting balls thrown my way much on defense, I'm making up for it on offense."
